Why a Boys Class?
In a sport where the majority of participants are female, the boys enjoy having the camaraderie and competitiveness of an all-boy atmosphere. The class has proven to be extremely popular and it isn't uncommon for the boys to outnumber the girls at our performances and competitions. The class has also proven to be extremely effective with those boys training for the competitive circuit.
Who will be teaching the class?
Esther Pujol is the teacher for this class. Esther trained at one of the top schools in the world for boys, has 2 sons who dance, and also trained her son to his first Regional Championship at the age of 7.

What Material will be learned?
As this class is a mix of all 6 levels of competitive Irish Dance, we will cover a wide range of soft shoe and hard shoe dancing.
Does my child need to perform / compete?
No. Although we encourage the boys to get involved with our performances and take part in competitions we never require anyone to perform or compete.
-When Can my child begin?
We have open enrollment year-round (even through the summer!)
-How old does my child have to be?
We take children as young as 3 in our pre-school program and as young as 5 in the Boys Class. Since Irish Dance is broken down by level of ability and not by age, you will see Beginner dancers from as young as 5 through High School in the same class.
