Looking to Hire The Paloma School of Dance

for a Show?

Check the FAQs below for important information.

FAQs

1.  How many dancers will participate?
  • This depends on your needs.  We can offer anywhere from 3 - 16 dancers depending on the type of performance and venue.  We also have several dancers who play traditional Irish instruments and will sometimes play during our shows.

2.  What level of dancing should we expect?
  • Our school has a complete range of levels and ages.  We typically mix it up during the performances but can cater to your needs.
3.  How much does it cost?
  • The cost of performances can vary greatly.  For a 1 Hour Show we typically ask for $150 from non-profits and $300 from for-profit organizations although this price may be higher or lower depending on the length of the show, level of dancers, etc...  We are also willing to do free shows for Non-Profits based on availability, proximity to our studio, etc...   Contact the director for a better idea of pricing.  Please note that all Payments should be made to our separate Non-Profit Organization, "Paloma Irish Arts Foundation."  Your payment will go to a wonderful program that supports our dancers as well as other Irish Arts.  You can go the website for more information:  www.PalomaIrishArts.org.

4.  What type of flooring and sound system do we need?
  • We prefer elevated wood floors to dance on although we have performed on concrete, carpet, etc... We have liners we can lay down over ceramic tile, finished wood, etc... to prevent damage to the floor and slipping for the dancers. A sound system with an IPod hook-up is ideal and we can also bring our own sound system if needed.  Our dancers can also perform to live music if you have a band playing traditional, Irish music.

5.  Who should I contact about performances?
  • The owner and head teacher, Esther Pujol.  esther@palomairishdance.com.  717.380.5301
